onmouseover image – Theme wechseln!

in meinen alten Wordpress-Themes hatte ich den onmouseover – Effekt, um die Bilder im Blog farbig oder schwarzweiss anzuzeigen. Wenn jemand sehen will, wie das aussieht, sollte er in der Sidebar auf das Theme ‘longjorn’ oder ‘longjorn II’ umschalten! Da ist diese Funktion mit Hilfe von ‘hover’ in der css noch vorhanden.

das Plugin WP-Cache 2.0 von Galli

für mehrere Tage hatte ich das Plugin WP-Cache 2.0 von Ricardo Galli installiert. Rein gefühlsmässig würde ich sagen, es bringt was beim Aufbau der Seite, da viele Datenbankanfragen wegfallen. Auch die Belastung des Servers hat sich verringert, zumindest gab’s keinen Error mit ‘privvmpages’ mehr. ( Der Server bekommt Probleme mit dem zur Verfügung gestellten Speicher). [...]

Theme Longjorn hat ‘ne neue Farbe

Aus Lust und Laune habe ich heute mein Theme um eine neue Variante erweitert.
Nicht mehr dunkelblau sondern hell-beige bis braun.

Farbe kommt bei mir ins Bild, wenn ihr mit der Maus drüberfahrt – ‘hover’
Das funktioniert aber nur im Internet-Explorer, bei Firefox sind die Farben eh gleich da.
Fehlt nur noch ein farblich angepasstes Logo, dann bin ich’s [...]

Link Indication gibt den Links ein ‘Zeichen’

Ich habe mir ein neues Plugin installiert.
Sorry, wie neu das ist, weiss ich nicht, für mich ist es neu…
Dieses Plugin Link Indication blendet kleine ‘Bildchen’, Icons oder Pfeile automatisch bei Links ein.

Man kann einstellen, ob das nur bei Beiträgen, oder auch bei Kommentaren oder gar in der Sidebar geschehen soll.
Ich habe das so gemacht:

irgendwo hatte ich einen Blog gesehen, in dem das Datum der Beiträge als Image dargestellt war. Das hat mir gut gefallen und ich habe es geschafft, das jetzt auch in meinem Theme ‘longjorn’ zu haben.
Es ist möglich, dass das auch mit dem Plugin Headline Images zu machen ist, war mir aber dann doch zu kompliziert.

So I call my theme now ‘Longjorn_ns’ Version: 0.3, because it’s the third variation of my longjorn – themes
