Hi
I am using Windows shared hosting from GoDaddy and its 404 custom page service which redirects to 404.php page in arthemia theme folder. However, when encountered with a non-existing page like http://energybusiness.in/nocat, it shows the following error
Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header() in D:Hosting5979845htmlwp-contentthemesarthemia404.php on line 1
What does the above error mean? How can I get the 404.php page to work?
Any help would be highly appreciated.

actually you can not link to any .php file in themes folder. Wordpress and the theme will show the content of 404.php if it can't find an entry with this (invalid) url.This error comes on any .php file you want…
