Das favicon.ico in Firefox updaten – how to refresh the displayed icon in Firefox

Firefox merkt sich das einmal für eine Seite gefundene Icon, meist url /favicon.ico.

Wenn man nun eine eigene Webseite hat und das Icon verändert, möchte man dieses auch im Firefox sehen. Nur – der klebt an dem einmal gelesenen Icon.

Wenn ich nun aber einmal das Icon direkt aufrufe, also in der Eingabezeile oben im Browser die url und das favicon direkt aufrufe (zB so: www.go41.de/favicon.ico ), dann merkt sich Firefox dieses neue Icon für die Seite.
