I thought already to remove this link, it’s not fair for the creator of the theme.
Long time ago I also used a copy of Arthemia Premium like this, just for reference.
If the copy is clean you can only check by looking in all theme files (mostly it’s header.php or footer.php or functions.php) for malicious code.
That code is encrypted code, just a long line with letters like
QAAAJztjbnEnZGtmdHQ6JWRrYgIFZnUlOTsoAUA5DQ4ODQ4Asw4AsCAIDQ0Com5j
sometimes starting like <?php /* WARNING: This file is protected by copyright ……….
I think they can’t ban your blog, no idea how that could work. But sure you could not apply for support without buying it.
They will know if your copy is pirated but I think they won’t search the web for someone like you.
My opinion about the Premium version is: It is great to set all these options in admin panel, colours and advertising etc. But That’s it, any more changes are quite difficult in these theme files. All Arthemia Premium sites look very similar apart from the colour settings…

My suggestion would be:If you want to go with a theme using timthumb, try to get Arthemia running as it is first.For a theme like this it is important! to have more than only three posts in your blog.Arthemia needs…
