means you have all wordpress files in a folder /blog and want to move it to /example?
I would COPY the whole stuff to a new folder, to have it twice on the server.
Now actually .htaccess has to be adapted and in admin – settings – general the Site address (URL).
If it’s a full site with images referenced to /blog/… the thing starts to get more difficult.
That’s the reason why I keep wordpress in the root.
